Bosham is a unique, historical harbour village set within Chichester Harbour. A destination for tourists and locals alike. For decades it has become infamous for it's tide catching out visitors who've parked on the foreshore at low tide, unbeknownst to them that the water enters the harbour relatively quickly, and soon engulfs stranded cars. Despite signage on the shoreline warning of the dangers, this occurrence happens almost weekly and to some locals has become known as the 'Bosham Car Wash'.
